The Marinette lighting project is in full swing and appears to be on schedule. As of 11 this morning, all the old lights were down and nearly half the new ones were up. There may be unseen details involved prior to completion, but the goal of the courts’ being ready for play Saturday seems within reach.
The court wash schedule for Marinette has changed! ALL outside courts will be washed Saturday, October 26. Work will begin at 4AM, so they should be dry and ready for play shortly after 8. The covered courts will be washed Sunday, October 27. Without the sun to dry them, their availability will be later. Please plan your play accordingly.
Sign up is now available for Mens’ League. Play will be Fridays at noon. More info is available on the Club website, or contact Jeff Skaggs for more details.
Sign up will be available soon for the Color Tournament taking place November 11th. This is a fun event where 4 teams of up to 20 players compete against each other wearing their team “Colors”. There are still a few slots open for our Line Judging Clinic and Referee’s Clinic coming up later this week. Thanks to Tom Jeffers for organizing both of these! Sign up on our website.
