First, thanks to all who played in, volunteered at and just came to watch the Roundup! And especially, thanks to Jeff and Lynda Skaggs and Donna Holick for putting it on, and to Kevin Pates for the great write up on our webpage.
Registration is still open for the Women’s League, which will play Wednesdays at noon, and the Men’s League, which will play Fridays at noon. A mandatory organizational meeting for all participants will take place Monday at 1 in Marinette Auditorium. If you are unable to make this meeting, you must contact Jeff or Lynda Skaggs immediately to make arrangements.
The first Ratings Clinic of the season will take place November 9 at noon at Marinette. Participants must be a member of SCPC, have been playing PB at least 2 months and not have an existing SCPC or USAPA rating. The Club will not override anyone’s USAPA rating and, at least for this session, will not be adjusting existing Club Ratings.
Courts 1-12 will be closed Tuesday thru Thursday next week for repairs to the expansion joints. All scheduled Club activities on those days will be cancelled. This certainly is not great timing for this project, but it could have been worse! Please plan your play accordingly!
The Color Tournament will take place November 11 at 2. Food will be available after play. More info on our website. Registration is still open.
The Volunteer Luncheon is scheduled for November 16 at noon on the Marinette patios. Lunch will be catered by Sardellas. If you have volunteered in any capacity in 2019 you are eligible to attend this event. Come on out and let us thank you! Registration closes November 10th.
The Christmas party will be here before we know it. Tickets go on sale Monday. They are $10 per person for members and one escorted guest. The party will feature a catered meal, terrific doorprizes and music by “Street Player”, a local band which plays regularly throughout the valley!
