In the era of Covid and for ease of using the paddle holders without moving 20 paddles every time a court becomes available. Simply take your paddles out when it’s your turn to play, move the ring to the right to the next set of paddles. The ring continues to move to the right until the last set of 4 paddles are gone, and then goes back to position 1 on the very left.

Pickleball Rule Changes for 2021 Effective 1-25-21
There are 125 rule changes for 2021. Many of them are just wording changes to increase clarity. There are multiple changes regarding moving timing issues to a consistent point in time before the next serve occurs.

Major Changes for Serves
- Let serves have been eliminated. Serves that hit the net and land good are played.
- The drop serve is added as a provisional rule. Provisional means that USA Pickleball will evaluate the rule for unintended or unexpected outcomes over the next year. Players may also continue to use the current serve. See the video for an explanation and demonstration.

Pickleball fans everywhere will have front row access this Sunday to the 2018 Margaritaville USA Pickleball National Championships. A one-hour special, hosted by tennis legends Luke and Murphy Jensen, the must-see dynamic 1993 French Open Doubles Champions, will air at 3 p.m. EST / 12 p.m. PST this Sunday, November 25 on ESPNEWS.
