Our DesertFrogs/SnowBirds Farewell dinner will take place Friday, March 22 at 6PM at Marinette. You must register for this event on the Club Website by March 19 if you wish to attend. Check the website for more details.
Registration for the Dink Tournament on March 25 is also available on the website. This tournament has always been a fun tournament for all involved, but registration is running very slowly this year. Check it out and get signed up today!

Longtime Club Member John Falbo passed away recently. His family is planning a Celebration of Life at his home (10044 W Palmer Dr) at 1PM on March 22. All are invited.
Our Spring Slam concluded yesterday after three days of beautiful weather (OK, it was a bit windy Friday) and great play. A huge THANK YOU to Jeff and Lynda Skaggs for putting this together for us! The Snowbird Farewell Dinner is coming up quickly on March 22 at 6PM in Marinette Auditorium. The Club will provide turkey, ham and a vegetable lasagna while members bring sides, salads, and deserts. We’ll also each bring our favorite beverage. There is no registration fee for members, but you do need to sign up on the Club website. Your guest may join us for $5, payable at the door.
The Dink Tournament follows the Dinner on March 25 at 9 at Marinette. The Club will provide lunch following play. This is a fun event you don’t want to miss! Sign up today! This will be our last major event until Independence Day.
The last Club Membership Meeting of the season will be Tuesday, March 26 at noon at FAIRWAY. Don’t miss this opportunity to learn what’s going on in YOUR Club and offer your suggestions for improvement!
Our Club Tournament is this Friday, March 1. Marinette courts 1-16 will be in use for the tournament from 9-noon. Please schedule your play accordingly. Courts 17-20 will be available all day for Drop-In play, and regular court usage will resume approximately at noon.
Candy will be at the Tournament with Club Shirts. Please arrange to pick up yours if you haven’t already done so.
Sign up is now available for the Desert Frogs/Snowbirds Farewell Dinner, which will take place in Marinette Auditorium from 6-8PM, March 22. The Club will provide the meats for this dinner, and members will bring sides, salads, and desserts. There is no sign-up fee, but any no-shows will be ineligible to participate in the next Club event.

A QR code for the Court Schedule has been placed on the Marinette bulletin board and on one of the tables in the breezeway between courts 13-16 and 17-20.
When you use a barcode scanner or QR code reader on your smartphone to scan the QR code, you will automatically get a clickable link to the court schedule for the current day’s events at Marinette. After the site is in your browser, it can be helpful to save it as a bookmark in the browser of your smartphone.
Club shirts have arrived. Candy Laube will be at Marinette tomorrow (Wednesday) at 10:00 for pick up. Checks should be payable to Sun City Pickleball Club.
The Club Tournament scheduled for this Friday has been POSTPONED to next Friday, March 1. Times remain the same. If you cannot play due to the change, please let Richard or Barbara Heywood know immediately!
The SLAM is coming up in little more than 2 weeks. There are still a few volunteer slots open. Sign up is available on the Club website.
An end of season dinner for the Desert Frogs to say farewell to the Snowbirds is scheduled for March 22 from 6-8 PM at Marinette. Sign up will be available soon. There will be no fee to sign up for this event, as the Club will provide the meal. HOWEVER, if you sign up and don’t show up you will be ineligible to participate in the next Club Event! The major reason for fees being collected in the past has been to assure attendance. If this works, fees will be eliminated from most future events.
Following on March 25 is the Club Dink Tournament. Tentative start time is 11 AM. Lunch will be provided, and there will be no entry fee. Again, if you sign up and don’t show up, you will be ineligible for the next event. Sign up will be available soon.
