Thanks to all who came to our Membership Meeting Tuesday! While aware it was an inopportune time for many, we felt it important to schedule a meeting at Fairway and that was the only time slot available anywhere within our requests. Although the discussion got a bit contentious at times, many good points were made, and it appeared most realized the Scheduling Committee and Board are doing everything possible to be fair to all members. We will continue to address your concerns as fairly as possible. The paperwork is ready to be submitted for approval of the purchases discussed, and we hope to hear something soon. The Minutes are now available on the Website and will be posted to the bulletin boards soon.
Thanks to all who took a few moments to share their thoughts on the Dink Tournament which took place Monday. Hopefully some adjustments can be made that will draw more participants next time.
Our next Club event is a Fun Day at 4PM on Thursday, April 11, at Mountain View. Bring your paddle, a snack to share and your beverage of choice! The Club will provide plates, napkins and cups. This is a great opportunity to meet, and renew friendships with, some members you haven’t met or rarely see.
Perfect PB weather coming up! Get out and enjoy!
Our DesertFrogs/SnowBirds Farewell dinner will take place Friday, March 22 at 6PM at Marinette. You must register for this event on the Club Website by March 19 if you wish to attend. Check the website for more details.
Registration for the Dink Tournament on March 25 is also available on the website. This tournament has always been a fun tournament for all involved, but registration is running very slowly this year. Check it out and get signed up today!

Dues are past due, and the grace period for payment ends January 31. Please get them paid promptly. You’ll be dropped from the Club roster and email list on February 1, and are no longer eligible for Cub events or to play during Club times.
Couples Nite & Grab a Bite, also called Social night, is back in full swing with the Griffins back and ready to organize dinners. Come to Marinette Fridays around 5 to play for a while, socialize and go out for dinner. Dinner location varies. Of course, you may come just for play or just for dinner.
Volunteers are still needed for the Marinette SSIPA Tournament coming up at the end of the month. Sign up on the Club website. Most work assignments are less than 4 hours, and volunteering is a great way to meet new pickleball players.
