Hello Sun City Pickleball

Just a few reminders.

Club dues are to be paid by January 15th. At last count only HALF of the club members had paid their dues. After January 15th, board members, those guys and gals with the red and white name tags, will be asking you what’s up if you do not have a blue 23 sticker on your name tag. And of course, asking you where your name tag is if not being worn, Being a member of our club does come with benefits! As a club member you get court privileges, you get to participate in round robins, ladders and lessons. After January 15th, if you do not have a blue sticker, you will not be allowed to participate in these activities. 

Still looking for some members to step up and be tournament directors!! Jeff and Lynda Skaggs will no longer be doing this job after the Spring Slam in March. Shadowing and getting instruction from Jeff and Lynda leading up to and during the Slam will be very valuable to anyone interested.

Next membership meeting is on Monday January 16th at the Marinette auditorium starting ay 4 pm.

Discover Sun City event takes place on Wednesday January 18th. There are two sessions: 9 to 11 am and 6 to 8 pm. Our club will have a booth at this event. We hand out club information and also set up a portable net, Have some balls and paddles available. Need volunteers for both sessions. 

Tony Anfinson left a blue Selkirk paddle at the Marinette courts this past Saturday. As of yet has not reappeared. If you have found this paddle, Please return to Tony. Might take a peek in your pickleball bag and see if you got an extra paddle in there by mistake.
